Nikhil Advani has completed a hatrick of flops with ‘Patiala House’. The unlucky helmer has so far has incurred 100 crore losses for his producers. The shocking truth about all his flops are that the movies created buzz in the media and where well promoted but still the audience rejected it outright.

After the praises for debut as director in Karan Johar’s ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ his next ‘Salam-E-Ishq’ the Indian answer to ‘Love Actually’ was looked upon with much excitement but sadly it dumped at the B.O. even after having a dozen of Bollywood stars that included the bankable Salman Khan. The movie is said to have incurred loss of about 30 crores to the producer.

His next with Akshay ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ was also rejected even after it had B-town entertainer Akshay doing comedy and martial arts together in one film. This too according to industry reports has lost around 35 crores.

His latest ‘Patiala House’ has opened to a poor 25% opening and gave Akshay its lowest opening of his career. This one too is reported to end up losing around 30 odd crores.

Nikhil now has to tighten his belt and do something profitable for the industry cause till now he is backed by good banners and saleable stars cause he is talented and will show one day.

But the cause of worry for Nikhil is that till now he has the backing, but a 100 crore loss in just three films won’t guarantee whether the same backing will ‘Ho’ Ke ‘Na Ho’.
